Christopher Zander joined Evercore Wealth Management with 16 years of experience in providing comprehensive advice to high-net-worth individuals and families on their complex, multi-generational wealth management and planning needs.

Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management, Chris was most recently a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management's Multi-Family Office Group, which serves ultra-high net worth families nationally in the area of wealth planning, investment consulting, fiduciary, administrative and family office services. In addition to leading the group's strategic direction, Chris personally advised clients on investment and wealth planning issues including tax-efficient asset allocation, estate and wealth transfer planning, asset location and protection, concentrated stock management, retirement and equity compensation planning, philanthropic strategies, income tax planning and family governance and succession. Previously, Chris advised individual clients and their families as a Principal in U.S. Trust's New York Multi-Family Office Group and as a Senior Financial Planner in U.S. Trust's Financial Counseling Group. He also served on U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management's National Personal Fiduciary Committee.

Chris has been recognized as one of the "Top Wealth Advisors" in the United States by Worth Magazine in its annual October issue from 2005-2008. Chris is also a frequent lecturer at industry and client events on the topics of wealth management, wealth planning, philanthropy and family governance and has been interviewed for and quoted in various news publications.

Chris received an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University.
