Tim is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at the San Francisco office of Evercore Wealth Management. He joined the firm in 2012, following the acquisition of Mt. Eden Investment Advisors, where he was a founding partner. He has 21 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining Mt. Eden in 2004, Tim was a portfolio manager at Weiss, Peck & Greer and, previously, a director of research at Sand Hill Advisors.
Tim received two B.A. degrees from UC Berkeley, in Political Economy and German, and a Masters in International Affairs and Finance from UC San Diego. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Bruce is an Equity Portfolio Manager and is also an employee of Evercore Trust Company. Bruce joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2009 with 35 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations. He is responsible for overall asset allocation for clients and is a member of the Equity Selection Committee.
Previously, Bruce was a Managing Director of U.S. Trust which he joined in 1997. There he managed multi-asset class portfolios for individual clients, served on numerous national investment policy committees and supervised client-facing portfolio managers on the West Coast. He also served as a regional chief investment officer for Chicago’s Harris Private Bank for 12 years.
Bruce received his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from Princeton University. He is a member of the San Francisco Financial Analysts’ Society.
Cynthia is a Wealth and Fiduciary Advisor, focused on financial planning and client service. She has 19 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts and non-profit organizations. She joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2012 as a member of the Mt. Eden Investment Advisors team.
Prior to joining Evercore, she worked as a senior client associate at Mt. Eden Investment Advisors, focused on intergenerational issues, philanthropic goals and multiple entities. Ms. Flannigan was previously at Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith as a portfolio associate, and began her career in client services at Spare Kaplan Bischel & Associates.
She received a B.S. in Business Analysis from San Francisco State University, graduating cum laude, and a Masters in Financial Planning and Taxation from Golden Gate University. She holds the Certified Financial Planner license and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Bill joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2012, as a member of the Mt. Eden Investment Advisors team. He has 38 years of investment and operations experience, including eight years in trust administration.
He joined Mt. Eden in 2005 and was responsible for managing the firm’s investment operations and compliance. He previously worked for 12 years at Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith, where he was head of compliance and chief administrative officer.
Bill earned a BA in History from UC Davis. He serves as a Trustee for the California Historical Society Foundation.
Keith joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2012 as the head of the West Coast region. He was previously the founding partner of Mt. Eden Investment Advisors, directing all aspects of the firm’s strategy and serving as the chief investment officer and lead wealth strategy advisor. Keith has 31 years of experience in wealth management.
Prior to founding Mt. Eden in 2004, he was a managing director at Weiss, Peck & Greer, responsible for the firm’s West Coast private client group. Previously, he worked at Scudder, Stevens & Clark.
Keith earned his BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. He holds the Certified Financial Planner license, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation.
He serves on the boards of the Mills Peninsula Hospital Foundation as the Treasurer, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra Committee and is Vice President of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Mills Peninsula Hospital Foundation Philanthropic Council, an Advisory Board Member of the Bay Area Financial Education Foundation and co-chair of The San Francisco Foundation Professional Advisors Council. Keith is a past President of the CFA Society of San Francisco, past board member of CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point and the Cypress String Quartet.
Judy Moses is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management responsible for managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth families and institutional clients. She is also a member of the firm’s External Manager Selection Committee, which is responsible for the selection, due diligence and on-going monitoring of all third-party investment managers. As a member of the committee, she is responsible for research and due diligence of active listed equity managers.
Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management, Judy was a vice president at U.S. Trust, and a senior portfolio manager at Charter Financial Group, Inc. in Washington, D.C.
Judy received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California – Berkeley, an M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco, and also serves on the Board of Trustees of Santa Catalina School.
John Sawin is a Vice President and Financial Advisor at the San Francisco office of the firm, focused on delivering wealth management services to clients, notably those working in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management in 2015, John worked for five years as an investment banker in the global technology group at Barclays, serving on teams that underwrote IPOs for Facebook, Intermolecular, RPX, NXP Semiconductors, and Sensata Technologies and advised Motorola on the spin-off and subsequent sale of its mobility unit to Google. He earlier worked at Lehman Brothers in New York as an investment banking analyst in the global industrials group.
He is a graduate of Princeton University, where he received a BA in Economics in 2007. He serves as a director on the boards of The First Tee of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Park Golf Development Foundation. John won the 2014 Pennsylvania Amateur golf championship.
Iain is a Partner and Wealth and Fiduciary Advisor at Evercore Wealth Management. He is also a member of the firm’s Wealth Planning team and the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the External Manager Selection Committee which is responsible for the selection, due diligence and on-going monitoring of all third-party investment managers. As a member of this committee, he is primarily responsible for conducting research and due diligence on passive and “smart-beta” investment vehicles, as well as on socially responsible and impact investing.
Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management in 2009, Iain was a senior vice president at U.S. Trust and was responsible for client relationship management. In that capacity, Iain advised clients on financial planning issues including tax efficient asset allocation and investment strategies, estate and wealth transfer planning, liability analysis and cash flow planning.
Iain received a B.A. from San Francisco State University and an M.B.A. from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University. Iain currently serves on the finance committee for the Napa Valley Community Foundation.
Edith focuses on client service and portfolio administration. She joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2012 from Mt. Eden Investment Advisors, with 18 years of experience in investment management.
Prior to joining Mt. Eden in 2008, she worked at Charles Schwab & Co., specializing in client service and portfolio consultation.
She earned a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner license and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Bill is an Equity Portfolio Manager and a member of the Evercore Wealth Management Equity Selection Committee. He has over 20 years of experience in managing multi-asset class portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, endowments and foundations.
Bill joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2009 from U.S. Trust. He was previously a portfolio manager and securities analyst at Harris Bretall in San Francisco, where he served on the firm’s strategy committee and managed the growth equity fund.
Bill earned his B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and his J.D. from U.C. Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. He is a member of the California Bar Association and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Kirsten is a Managing Director and Wealth and Fiduciary Advisor at Evercore Wealth Management, responsible for delivering wealth planning, fiduciary and family wealth services to clients at the firm.
Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management in May 2015, Kirsten worked for eight years as a wealth management executive at Mechanics Bank. She was previously the senior fiduciary officer for the San Francisco Office of U.S. Trust Company.
Kirsten received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and also holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation.
She is a member of the San Francisco and East Bay Estate Planning Councils and is a non-attorney member of the San Francisco Bar Association. Kirsten has served as chair of the Council of Friends for the Bancroft Library, and on the professional advisory committees for the East Bay Community Foundation and the San Francisco Ballet. Kirsten was named to the San Francisco Business Times list of “The Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” in 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2013.
